Sand Dunes
Mui Ne contains the largest sand dune in Vietnam. It is sight to see. The dunes are formed from the strong wind season against the East Sea creating a marvelous expanse of rolling dunes as far as the eye can see. The major activity on the dunes is Sand Skiing. Once at the base of the dune, about 30 young Vietnamese children want you to rent their sand ski and have them demonstrate the proper technique. Once striking the "best deal" with the child, you are escorted to the top of one of the dunes. The ski is nothing more than a thin plastic sheet with two ropes attached. You are the aimed down a very, very long hill and of course trusting our "new" trainer, you sit with feet first, lie back and "scream" as you slide down the dunes! Each successful slide, the child brings you to a higher more steep slope. As you can see, TUSP-RX was proudly represented on the dunes!!!!
